After having enjoyed a five day stay and developed this project in the Norwegian capital, it is about time to draw conclusions of the living experience and the possible applications to the studies of our School.

First of all, I must clarify that this college tries to train properly qualified students for textile production. This justifies the technical approach of its fashion design studies. The students get their bachelor’s degree after completing their final project after a three years’ period.

There is a real gap between the Norwegian and the Spanish educational system. I would like to highlight the great autonomy in performing the projects by the students. They carry out their tasks independently whether during their normal classes or working during their extracurricular time. They also have the possibility to stay in the College in the evenings and use their resources to complete their work.

It is also important to say that, in workshops, there are about eight or ten students per teacher.

In general, the inhabitants of this city have high English skills, which make easier the visitor’s experience. In addition to this, Oslo offers a varied cultural range which will enthrall future incoming teachers or students.

The downside of an Erasmus experience in Norway is the high standard of living of this country. In some rankings is situated as one of the most expensive places to live in the world. It is important to consider, for long term stays, food prices and rents which are extremely high. Besides this, the cold weather of this country it is widely known but this should not be a drawback for Burgos citizens.

In conclusion, and regarding to experience, the main attraction of this College for possible future Spanish Erasmus student who wish to begin their experience in this center, lies in the ability to improve some techniques such as tailoring and experimental knitting.
