Once again, four graduate students from College of Design and School of Art of Burgos start a new professional stage in their lives: they will enjoy a 90-day internship thanks to the scholarships granted by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program within the ongoing Higher Education and Vocational Training project.

These European grants aim for improving professional, personal and linguistic skills, as well as getting to know and respect the culture of the corresponding host country.

Mario, a graduate in Artistic Cabinetmaking and Pablo, a graduate in Wood Applied Arts, will be shortly received by Eckener-Schule in Germany, where they will carry out a sculpture project and will learn the different wood carving techniques.

María, a graduate in Fashion Design, will be hosted by ESAD Matosinhos in Portugal, where she will increase her skills in workshops related to graphic engraving.

Álvaro, a graduate in Artistic Cabinetmaking, will visit IKATA in Finland, where he will apply what he has learned so far in workshops such as Furniture Restoration, Glass Blowing and Marquetry mainly.

The four of them, with their résumés and portfolios under their arms, share the eagerness for learning as much as possible in order to be able to put it into practice in the working world in the near future. Inside or outside Spain, time will tell.
